Hero Omar

(Souad Um Omar), a Syrian family of three.
This family is currently residing in one of the Syrian refugee camps in Arsal – Lebanon for more than ten years. They have only such covers, which can hardly be considered a tent.

The hero of this family is a ten-year-old (child Omar). He dreams of learning and studying, however….His father suffers from complete paralysis as well as bladder disease, which prevents him from moving or even performing the slightest duty to serve himself after his injury. Despite his young age, Omar works to provide for the basic needs of the family, buy diapers, medical catheters, medicines and treatment for his father.

Omar did his best despite his young age, but taking on the responsibility of his father and the responsibility of the family was much older than him, given the difficult life and difficult economic conditions.

God-confident Suad is a good housewife and relies only on patience, prayer, the support of her child and the support of her husband.

But…
Thanks to Allah and thanks to your donations to our campaign in the month of Dhu al-Hijjah via the LaunchGood platform, we were able to reach this family and provide financial assistance to them through good and benevolent people who donated and whom we invite to Allah to bless and please.
This help, thanks to God and then the good people who donated, radically changed their quality of life. They became able to afford Omar’s father’s needs for medical supplies and help him with treatment, in addition, Omar returned to school and realized his dream, paying the rent for the tent.

When we visited Omar and his family, his words were:”Thank you, I have fulfilled one of my dreams”.
