Help orphans, widows and the needy (refugees, Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen)

Allah said: ﴿ and they feed food on his loveۦ poor, orphaned, captive ﴾ (Man: 8).

Based on the principle of brotherhood among Muslims, through which Islam called to urge Muslims to support each other in crises, adversities and disasters, and after the devastating earthquake that occurred, the humanitarian situation has become more difficult than the tragedies experienced by this region, in addition to the difficult humanitarian conditions in Lebanon and Palestine, and the right to share pain and adversity with fellow refugees.

Through your generous donations, we look forward to helping the needy and poor refugees in Yemen, Palestine and Lebanon, and serving those who need us the most! We aim to hold daily breakfasts in the refugee camps in Lebanon, distribute food baskets to needy families in these camps, and provide food assistance to the poor and needy in Yemen and Palestine.

Through this project, we aim to provide food and basic necessities to our refugee families, widows and orphans in Yemen, Palestine and Lebanon during the holy month of Ramadan.

Why should you help now

Urgent need for assistance to refugees:

Refugees have not been content with suffering the pain of years-long wars, which have left many victims and hundreds of thousands of displaced families. In 2023, there was a new stage of tragedies, as a strong earthquake hit the region last February, leaving many martyrs and displaced families in northern Syria.

This earthquake led to the demolition of houses and the closure of factories, workshops and shops that were the only livelihood of their owners. Thus, saving has become insufficient, the necessities of life among the natives have diminished, and they can no longer secure the minimum amount of food necessary to continue life.

Millions of families have also been displaced in the open, in schools, mosques, public squares and torn tents, in search of semi-safe areas, where hunger, fear and cold meet them. Therefore, it is necessary to join hands for the relief of the affected people living in difficult humanitarian conditions. The main objective of this project will be to distribute daily breakfasts and food baskets to the most vulnerable groups in society, widows and orphans.

Why is there a need for a fasting breakfast project

Out of our religious and humanitarian duty to extend a helping hand to our fellow refugees in distress, and since food is the most needed and important, our organization hastened to launch this project to provide and distribute “food baskets” and”Iftar meals” to refugees and the poor.

And because the best gift is charity, and feeding food in Ramadan has a great reward, your charity feeds the fasting and supports orphans and the needy in a land that has suffered from the scourge of wars and disasters.

Assess the needs of the target areas, develop a distribution plan, prepare lists of beneficiaries, prepare meals, and distribute them to the areas pre-defined in the distribution plan.
